Will Davis - Attorney

Will Davis is the founder of the Law Offices of W.H. Davis P.A. He practices in the areas of Criminal Defense, Civil Rights, Insurance law, and Civil litigation. Will has practiced law for 13 years, with the last eight years as a litigator in serious felony crimes. Will’s law career has included public service and private practice, and he has been recognized for excellence in his work.

Prior to returning to private practice, Will served as an Assistant Hennepin County Public Defender. In Hennepin County, Will was assigned to the Adult Criminal Division where he handled thousands of cases as minor as public urination, as well as every type of serious felony including; Felony Assaults, Sex Crimes, Drug Crimes, Gun charges, DUI/DWI, all the way to First Degree Homicide. Will was also the lead Assistant Public Defender in the city of North Mankato.

For over seven and a half years, Will spent 75% of his time actually in court, not just talking about it. Will has taken many cases to jury trial, and gotten many not guilty verdicts or favorable negotiations for his clients due to his aggressive and fearless representation. Will recognizes that in many circumstances a jury trial may not be in the best interest of his clients; therefore, he will aggressively and compassionately negotiate the best possible result.

Will was recognized multiple times for excellence in litigation and criminal defense and was awarded advanced specialized training at prestigious regional and national trial colleges while working for Hennepin County.

Will received his law degree from William Mitchell College of law, while working as a Satellite Communications Manager in Minneapolis. Will is admitted to the bar in Minnesota and Maryland, and he is a member of Federal District Court of Minneapolis. After law school Will worked in private practice in the areas on criminal law and various business and technology issues.

He received his undergraduate from DeVry Institute of Technology in California where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. degree in Telecommunications Management.
Will served his country for eight years in the US Navy onboard nuclear submarines where he sharpened his skills of discipline and commitment that he now uses to represent his clients.
